Mr. Pearcy is a well-known staff member here at Nuview Bridge. He’s been working here for twenty years. He became a P.E teacher because his mom told him to find a job that pays him to play. He said, “I get paid all day to watch people get hit in the face by dodgeballs.”
When asked who influenced him the most in life, he said his youth pastor. His mom left during high school, and his siblings were out of the house. His youth pastor stepped in and was there for him, encouraging him to talk and share his feelings. This influenced him to want to be a youth pastor, but he decided not to take that route. Before working here, he worked at a small Christian school that was small. He came here, which is still small; however, it took him some time to adjust to the new school. It was very different at first, but he adapted rather quickly.
His strengths include being very organized and loving kids and teaching. His weakness is that some students are difficult to work with, making his job harder. He is quite the family guy. He is married with three kids. Outside of school, he likes to watch his kids play sports, spend time with his wife, and watch TV and movies with them.
