As the years at The Bridge go on, students get older and begin to start driving. As many know you could get a parking sticker to park in the parking lot which is very small and is also occupied by the
middle school teachers.
As many have probably complained about how small the parking lot is, others have had to park in the dirt or on the curb, causing them to sometimes get stuck in the mud or are not able to see in the night as there are no lights outside by the softball fields. To further change these problems I have interviewed Delilah Ramos to get her insight on how she feels about this situation.
According to her she states “Every morning coming to school by 3rd period the parking lot is full. Leaving me with having to park in the dirt, which also has potholes and big rocks that could damage my car”.
To alleviate these issues from happening again. There have been suggestions to make more parking spots down at the dirt, improving the quality of the unpaved sections by adding concrete or gravel. I think by suggesting this it would be easier for students and staff to find parking without having trouble doing so. Along with that, I believe also adding street lights could help benefit this situation as many students stay late after school for sports, tutoring, and theater. By adding these lights it will help students and staff feel more comfortable walking down to their cars once it gets dark out.
