Many people every year make a list on their new year resolutions and goals they want to accomplish. Many don’t stick with it and repeat those goals for the incoming year. Will you change anything to reach your goals this 2026? I asked 3 people – Jocelyn, Mrs. Candelario and Bella a series of questions to see their views and goals of this year.
What are your New Year’s resolutions?
Jocelyn: “Be kinder to myself, be ng top of my grades, and t be more healthier.”
Mrs. Candelario:” To stay positive, because I want to be less stressed and radiate positivity!¨
Bella: ”My New Year’s resolutions is to keep my room clean.”
Have you started to do anything to accomplish those goals yet?
Jocelyn: I’m trying to not be so hard on myself and im staying on top of my grades, I’m studying and I’m trying to eat healthier.”
Mrs. Candelario: “I’m trying to keep on track on my work, trying to take care of myself and trying to be less stressed so I can be more positive. My thought is that if I don’t agree with an idea I come in with positive energy after looking at my idea. So I’m trying my very best to have that mindset.”
Bella: “I try to keep everything organized every day.”
What was some struggles you went through last year?
Jocelyn: “I feel like like I put school before most things, I pushed my other personal goals aside to focus on school. I don’t want to do that this year.”
Mrs. Candelario: “Last year I went through a lot of health struggles due to stress, so that is why I am trying to be more positive this year so I can be more present with my students and for my family.”
Bella: I wasn’t in a good place with a lot going on in my life.”
How will you overcome those these challenges this year?
Jocelyn: “I’m trying to be more social and outgoing, and I’m trying to be less hard on myself about school!”
Mrs. Candelario: “By taking care of myself, exercising, all those things and I guess being a positive energy, doing stuff for myself so that way I can take care of everyone else.”
Bella: “To learn that it will get better.”
Everyone has different goals, and struggles they went through, this makes us different and helps us grow as individuals Having goals helps follow a path and help you hustle towards those goals, or becoming a better person, better vision. What are your 2026 resolutions?
